Your farm park adventure
Come explore our farm park and play all day at Cattle Country. We’re home to lots of different animals, including rare-breed cattle, and they’re all waiting to meet you. Whether you’re feeding alpacas, brushing bunnies or climbing aboard our tractor trailer ride, there’s something for all the family.
Your farm park trip
Come rain or shine, a jam-packed day lies ahead at our farm park. Meet our animals as part of our seasonal activities, or become a little farmer yourself by feeding and learning more about farmyard life. Our activities and attractions change throughout the year, so be sure to check our What’s On page before arrival to plan your day.
Meet our animals
So, who can you find at our farm? We have goats, alpacas, miniature Shetland ponies, donkeys, deer and pigs at our farm trail, while you can watch our cattle graze in the field on our tractor trailer tours. Click below to learn more about our animals.
Petting zoo
As well as farmyard experiences, enjoy close encounters with the smallest animals in the Animal Barn, including chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs. Our daily petting sessions are your chance to brush and feed our fluffiest friends while newborn calves (and their mothers) also reside in the Barn before joining the rest of the herd out on the farm.
Tractor and trailer rides
Wave to our cattle herd as you ride by on our tractor and trailer ride. Take a tour of our fields to learn more about our working farm and how we look after our animals here at Cattle Country.
As we are a working farm, this activity may not run on some days, so make sure to check in at the gift shop to book your place or see what else is on offer.
Also at our children’s farm
We’re a kids’ activity farm park, meaning that there’s a lot more than furry friends to see. From outdoor activities like the boating lake, climbing nets and sand barn to our indoor play, there’s something fun and exciting for kids of all ages. Visit our Play Park page to see what’s on offer.
Rainy days at the farm
No sunshine? No problem. While much of our farm park is outdoors, there’s no need to change your plans when the rain starts pouring. The Cowshed, Animal Barn and Sand Barn are all open no matter the weather, allowing you to fully embrace farmer life without getting completely drenched. Visit our Indoor Play page for more information.
